Welcome to the official homepage for The Heist! It took us a while to get this site up and running due to the band being busier than we ever expected, but it's finally done. Enjoy! Expect more features in the near future such as video and audio to compliment the sights and sounds we have on our Myspace page.
This summer brought many surprises and much success thanks to you guys. The buzz you sounded led to 95.5 KLOS D.J. shout-outs, three newspaper articles, a performance on television for KTLA's Morning News, and our show in front of over 4,000 people on July 4th. It was all topped off when we closed out summer by headlining the Watermelon Festival to a packed crowd, which included Glenn Cornick from Jethro Tull.
We want to truly thank you for all your excitement that has allowed us to preserve this music for the generation who lived it, and to rebirth classic rock for a generation who has yet to experience it live. Your participation and large turnouts pay more homage to these great musicians than we could ever accomplish with a performance. Classic Rock is alive and well thanks to YOU!
SATURDAY, SEPT 20th will be our last show for the next couple months as we are taking some time to prepare for the many more to come. When we're not being distracted by (or arguing over) college football we'll be recording in the studio, putting together press kits, learning new songs, and booking new shows at brand new venues & festivals.
If you'd like to catch us before we take some time off, come out to Leo's All-Star Sports Bar & Grill in La Crescenta, CA on Saturday, Sept 20th. It will be a night full of drinking, singing, rocking, schmoozing, and time tested/Budweiser-approved dance moves. It also happens to be our guitar player and longtime buddy, Brendan McGrath's 25th birthday! If anything, come on down to help Brendan realize he's a quarter of a century old and that his age is catching up to the songs we play. It's bound to be a load of fun! We'll see you Saturday!

dancin’ shoes to bring in some money for the less fortunate. No need
to drop a penny in the hat or cut a check... it’s a very simple
equation: buy beer + eat watermelon and food + puke all over the person
dancing next to you = charity. Got it?

The Lions Club participates in a vast variety of projects important to their communities.
